A Time for Everything

May 27th 2009 02:35
Today, people tend to embrace the misery of life and dwell on it instead of giving thanks for what they have or what they have had. Life is a cycle. Of course we must grieve for our loved ones pass away but do you realize how many people turn away from God because of it? Man has sinned, and the wages of sin is death. It is appointed to mankind to die once. We shouldn’t be mad at God, or turn our backs on Him just because we are selfishly clinging to a life that has spent its time.

You see each one of us has a life cycle. During this time we have to work for God and live righteously. Doing good deeds, following His laws and helping other people come to know Him. We are all called to do this. Sadly, many do not and waste what little time they have on selfishness and vain priorities. We should rejoice for those that are good and have passed, for they are now in eternity. Why dwell on misery?

Please read this scripture for the cycles of life:
Ecclesiastes 3

Ecclesiastes 3:1
To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.

This is so true T.B.T. we must trust God that he has our best interest in mind when things happen.

Yesterday my wife fell and hurt her ankle, I took her to the E.R. while we were there the call code blue rang out in the E.R. things began to get real serious, we heard the ambulance come in siren blasting. It was an infant which was later die.

I could her mother weeping, in the most sorrowful tone I have ever heard, all my wife and I could do was to pray for them. To this God had a purpose.

Yes, sad, very sad. How touching. Thank you Lester for sharing. We should always be thankful because things can always be worse- and when things are at their worst at least Christians can count on the fact that they will not be alone during the time and transition.
