Ambassadors for God

July 26th 2009 19:04
We Christians are called to be Ambassadors! Scripture lays out our duties. If we are Christians then we have committed ourselves to the faith, we have surrendered our lives and we are learning consistently about our duties in this world through the Word of God.

This means that as Ambassadors we have a mission. That mission is to be a representative by living the example of Christ. We also need to be the messenger by using God’s word and truth each and every time we see or hear a lie. This means to stand up and be vocal when the bible is be perverted by the wicked or when we see liars abound.

Our message should be a testimony of our personal journey and all we have witnessed. Our service should be conducted by our actions and attitudes. The message should always be of God’s love, truth and salvation. We should always be faithful, responsible and in all that we teach remember to do it in love.

Amen. Great point, many Christians I feel should go out and expose lies as well as share the Good News about Christ with others.

I think this post makes an excellent point! How difficult it can be to walk in the footsteps of Christ- yet that is exactly what we are called to do. And as I've heard a lot lately, it's not your ability that counts, but your availability. God will provide whatever you need to do what He wants you to do, if you're only willing.

Thank you Alexander and Kristin. I only hope more people come to the same conclusions as the two of you. This is how we can we can better our spiritual walk.

I do alot of praying, and have had the message from Jesus Christ that I am doing what He wants me to do. I am in a war ministry, trianed by Jesus Christ to be a Marine, so I fight demons every day and every night. Now the question would be how did you find out what you were supposed to do? It is very simple, you have to be ready to hear His answer, and not disagree with Him when you get it. That part seems to be hard for people out there, you want to do what you want to do, and nothing more. Chances are He will want you to do something else than what you are doing. I have worked most of my adult life for the Beast system, the one now more people are out of work. I work for the Lord and nobody else. And doing it this way has made my life easier.
