Angels

Angels are often talked about in our society. They live in heaven and are a supernatural being. The Greek translation of the word means messenger. It is fitting, considering that angels are the messengers between heaven and earth. They are beings that God sends to deliver messages or save lives. They can come in their heavenly form as we see in Luke 2:9-13, or they can be disguised as human as is stated in Genesis 19:1-2
Cherubim and seraphim are two very special types of angels. These angels are those that surround God. In the next bible study we will take a closer look at a few of the angels by name.
