Submitting to Authority
June 29th 2008 23:25
There are so many people in the world that think it is a bad thing to submit to authority. But Christians believe that God is in control. He uses all things both good and bad to work for His will. God has allowed people and laws to be put in place to for mankind to live by. Submission to authority is to be humbled.
Fighting against what is right only ensures that a person can never live a righteous life. Submitting to authority and humbling yourself to keep from wicked ways prevents a person from being wicked. Those who live for their own will suffer greatly as a result and realize too late that their will can not get them into heaven.

The same thing must be in place when it comes to the church world as well. God has set in place rules, and ordinances for us to follow, and we must submit ourselves to them.
We should not lean on our own understanding, but on the Lord's. We must become as humble as a little child before we can make it to heaven. We must not be stiff necked and rebellious.
As in society if we break the rules we get punished, so as in our service to God if we break the rules we will not be allowed into heaven.
1 Corinthians 11 : 2-3
Now I praise you, brethren, that ye remember me in all things, and keep the ordinances, as I have delivered them to you.
But I would have you to know, that the head of every man is Christ ; and the head of the woman is man ; and the head of Christ is God.
