Becoming a Mature Christian
March 17th 2008 04:38
As we travel down the road of life we are all working to become a mature person. But it is whether we living a good life according to God’s standards or if we are living according to our own that separates us. If you think that you are living a good life according to God’s standards let’s take a closer look and see just how mature you really are.
1. Have you surrendered to authority or do you constantly fight it? (Hebrews 13)
2. Do you exercise a non-defensive attitude toward life and other people? (1 Peter 5:6)
3. Do you exclude unnecessary conflict from your life?
4. Are you open to correction of the way you live your life? (Hebrews 12)
5. Are you currently walking by faith in life? (2 Peter 3:18)
6. Is your spirit teachable? (1 Corinthians 2:6)
7. Are you willing to learn good from evil? (Hebrews 5:12)
8. Do you extend love unconditionally toward others? (1 Corinthians 13)
