Beware of False Teachers

In our last bible study we began reading about false teachers. The same list of verses are present here in this post and will be read until this lesson is complete. How can we stay away from these teachings and keep ourselves safe from this evil that seeks to destroy us?
* Cling to God’s Word, not the weak words of man.
* Study scripture with Godly people in fellowship.
* Refute false doctrine.
* Take precaution. If someone says that God says this or that, look it up and find out!!!
* Have faith!
* Live by scripture

2 Peter 2
Colossians 2:1-10
