Characteristics of the Antichrist

Today’s post is just trying to touch bases on what the bible says about the physical and personality traits of the antichrist. I keep hearing and seeing so many articles and stories of a long list of people who “might be” the antichrist… but if we looked at what scripture says about it maybe we wouldn’t be so quick to point our finger at people we simply don’t like. It is just not right when people take the Word of God (the bible) and use to stir up chaos but don’t even care enough to look up the actual things that Christians must look for in the unholy one. Below are only a few of the things that are actually written about this subject:
• he will be pompous
• he will be different from the ones that came before him
• he speak pompous words against the Most High
• he shall intend to change times and laws of man
• he will prosper and thrive yet destroy many in their prosperity
• deceit will prosper under his rule
• he will be arrogant and magnify himself above all
• he will appear to be a unifier of people and they will follow him
• the whole earth will be amazed by him
• he will appear to be a Christian of sorts
