Christian Actions: A Higher Standard
February 28th 2008 16:31
So many people, if you look at the world today, continue saying that Christian people are held to a higher standard. They are ridiculed for every sin or infraction while others never get a word said about their indiscretions. Well, perhaps they are right we do live by a higher standard, it’s called unconditional love.
We need to remember in all walks of life, mercy, compassion and grace. Love is the higher standard. Countless people live their lives as though they are number one, their concerns are the only ones that count, and they have to bring everyone down if they believe in someone or something higher than themselves.
We Christians are called to take the chances and the risks to help others regardless of race, religion or political orientation. We should sacrifice ourselves for others when ever the opportunity comes our way without abandoning our principals and our walk with God.
