As Christian parents, we have to raise our children in the right manner. We shouldn't be more concerned with being their friend as we are about being a parent and teacher. Today's reading comes from 2 Timothy 1:1-7, Deuteronomy 6:1-7 and Acts 16:1-2.
This is the basic structure that parents should live by:
• We should be faithful and persistent in prayer and guidance
• We should participate in all that we teach and lead by example
• We should encourage our children
• we should discipline our children so they may grow up right and strong in the word of God
• We should pray everyday for our children
