Christmas True and False (Part Four)

Many people think automatically of Santa Clause during the Christmas season. It is true that we should be thinking of Jesus’ birth and the sacrifice He made to teach us lovingly to obey His Father so that we may spend eternity in heaven but does that mean that thinking of Santa is bad for a Christian to do?
“Christians can’t allow their children to believe in Santa.” FALSE
Nicholas Clause is the spirit of selflessly giving. The myth is based on a real man that was deemed a saint (St. Nick) because of his out pouring of love and generosity. When people want to give a gift and want no recognition in return they leave a gift for people in the name of Santa (Saint) Clause. While Christians should obviously not worship Santa or make Christmas ALL about Santa the idea of giving selflessly without recognition is a Christian value so it is really up to the Christian families/ individuals and God above.
Remember, the bible teaches us that God knows our hearts and in ALL that we do our hearts can not lie to God. If your intentions are truly harmless and embrace God’s love while also being in obedience to His laws and in accordance with His will, then He sees this and judges accordingly. If this is a conflict with you, then pray about it.
