The Difference between Heresies and Aberrations

These are two words that are used frequently when studying the bible when learning about false teachers. This post is designed to reveal the distinction between the two before we go on to the bible study of this topic.
Heresy: False teachings that destroy. Spiritual distortions or contradictions.
Aberration: Being close to the truth but not completely, such as adding to God’s Word.
