Do You Care About Your Life and Death?
May 31st 2009 02:48
We only have so long on this earth. Every day from the moment of our birth we are getting closer to death. This should prompt people to live the best life that they can. A life that is full of meaning, love, compassion and above all one that is led by the laws and the word of God. But most are so wrapped up in the “I’m going to live forever, who cares when or how I die,” mentality that they live an undisciplined life of sheer wickedness.
But, what if today was your last day on earth? How do you think you would be judged? Is your soul such a simple, insignificant thing to you that you are willing to gamble with the off chance that there is no God to judge your decisions in life? The old excuse of “forgive me, I didn’t know…” is not going to save you. God has made it possible that people are there in your life to share with you the truth, if you choose not to believe it so you can justify your own behavior then that is your choice and you will be held accountable.
