The Treatment of Your Enemies
September 18th 2008 16:20
So, do you have an enemy? Well, if you are a Christian then you have many as the world is against you. The Old Testament was taken out of context often and hatred was tolerated as the mentality of do to others as they do to you was adopted and practiced regularly.
When Jesus came He taught that we are to let God handle these problems by praying for our enemies. We are called to love them and pray for them instead of using hatred when we get angry.

Round Politics
The word says anyone that is friends with the world is enemy with God. But it is not our job to get even, but let God handle it for us. We are to forgive trespasses of others so God will for give ours.
ROMANS 12 : V 19-21
Dearly beloved, avenged not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine, I will repay, saith the Lord.
Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him ; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.
Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
