Every Christian Should be Humble and Usable
June 20th 2010 16:55
Welcome back to this study on Romans which is where we learn about Paul’s mission in life and how Christians are to model their behavior after his. We are covering Romans 1:8-15.
Every Christian should be usable. God has given each of us a gift to be used for his purpose. God’s message is clear. He has defined both good and bad behavior and He wants us to serve others, not to be served. Everyone has God given talents, we should be using for Him not for our own selfish purposes.
Being humble is a thing that is unknown to many. We live in a “I want it my way” society. “It’s all about me” is the motto of countless people that are rushing to a painful death and eternity apart from God. Remember, you can NOT be a servant of Christ when you are prideful, arrogant, and selfish.
