The Fairness of God’s Judgment
June 18th 2008 23:20
We are not to judge others but we are to encourage each other to continue to walk in the light of God’s word. To judge is form an opinion to ridicule, mock, and decide punishment for what WE deem to be right or wrong. The bible lays out the law according to God. There is no room for opinions as to what WE think is right or wrong. If it is not written in the bible then it is for God to judge not mankind. If it is written in the bible we need to obey, teach and encourage others according to what scripture says bout the subject matter.
Many people have great difficulty in understanding this topic of judgment. Some would take this completely out of context, ignorantly so in fact. By this I mean when a person says that no one has the right to ‘judge’ another’s immoral acts. Immorality is defined in scripture- we know what is wicked versus what is righteous. If there is nothing said about a particular act then we have no right to judge as to whether it is one way or another.
