Happy Resurrection Day!

Let us not forget the reason for the holiday. It isn’t about Easter baskets and bunnies or colored eggs and candies. It is about the life and death of our Savior and how He overcame death. He was sent here, the Son of God, to pay for our sins so that we may be reconciled with God. Only those that believe in Him and obey His laws each day will have eternal life with him in heaven. He did not die so that we can sin when we wish and never be held responsible for our wicked ways. He came and died to pay for the sins of those that choose to follow him daily. No one gets to heaven but through Jesus Christ. He sacrificed His life so that whoever believes and abides in Him may have eternal life.
