Hiding Sin

We should always remember that God sees all. He knows our hearts and attitude as well as our actions. We are transparent to Him. The purpose of repentance is a spiritual trust issue. We do not repent and admit our sins merely to tell God that we have done them because He already knows. We do this to show Him that we are sorry for the behavior; we know it is pleasing to Him and we ask for forgiveness and mercy. God then sees our love for Him is greater than the love for ourselves and our sins. A good scripture to read on this topic is Psalms 32:1-7
