How Christians Should Recognize and Deal with Troubles

October 17th 2010 19:26

As we read Romans 5:1-5, We saw that Paul was telling us about the benefits of the "pressures" of life. Here is a clear path that we see him explain:
1. Tribulation - Pressure
2. Patience - Endurance
3. Experience - Proven Character or Maturity
4. Hope - The confident expectation that we will not be disappointed.
Paul is trying to say that when troubles come in our lives as a result of our walk with the Lord, we learn to endure. It is because of this endurance that we are matured and proven in our character. As we see God take care of us in the difficult times, we understand that He is in control and our faith is increased.
