How Have We Been Equipped to Follow God?

Our weapon and shield is the word of God: the very book that He appointed to specific chosen people to write because of their honesty and devotion. This is where we can find the guidelines to how life can lead to heaven eternally.
Prayer is our direct connection with God. When we involve Him in every aspect of our lives and go to Him in prayer with all that concerns us we find that He responds. This is when we can see Him working in our favor throughout our lives and we can see that He can do a better job that we can regardless of the dilemma.
God will never forsake us. Optimism=Faith and we need to know that He will be with us always. Our greatest tools to follow God: heart, attitude and faith.

Round Politics
Above all taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the spirit, which is the word of God.
For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds. Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exaltheth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.
