I love Jesus But....

This is a widespread excuse used by countless people. Let's fill in the blanks, and you can do this right from where you are with your own circumstances. This can help you, as a Christian, regardless of where you are in your spiritual walk, discern where you need to invite the Holy Spirit to work within your life. Why do we need to do this, because not submitting all that we have and all that we are is sinful and will only hinder our spiritual growth. As a true believer and follower of Christ and as a child of God, we are called to constantly conform to the image of God. That is why we were created.
So, here are a few things that I have heard and seen, but you should fill it in according to your life.
1.) I love Jesus But.... I don't really need to go to church.
2.) I love Jesus But.... I don't need to pray all the time.
3.) I love Jesus But.... I don't need to read the bible every day.
4.) I love Jesus But.... He wouldn't ask me to be happy or thankful in my circumstances.
5.) I love Jesus But.... there are just some people that can't be forgiven.
Now then, if you have come up with your own, I encourage you to look in your Strong's Concordance and look up the keywords (subject) of the issue you have inserted and find out what God's word says about it. What did Jesus teach about that subject? If you can relate to any of the inserted subjects I have placed here, let's get into them now.
1. 1 John 1
2. 1 Thessalonians 5:17 (There are MANY great scriptures on always praying but this sums it up)
3. Hebrews 4:12, 2 Timothy 3:16, James 1:21-22, Psalm 119:105
4. 1 Thessalonians 5:18, Ephesians 5:20, 1 Peter 4:12-14
5. Matt. 5, Matt. 6, Mark 11:25, Luke 6, Proverbs 20:22, (Do remember, a person who asks for forgiveness should be forgiven and those who don't ask or who are not sorry should be prayed for.)
