Immorality in the Church

Many people associate how they wish to feel about Christianity by way of all the wrongful behavior and immorality that goes on in some churches. This is a very ignorant stance to take. This would be like saying all fathers should be gated because some are child molesters or woman beaters. Or, all women should be looked upon as whores because some are promiscuous. This philosophy just doesn’t make sense.
For those of you that may think that church officials and priests, pastors, etc. are not to be held accountable for their actions this post is for you. The bible clearly shows us what is unacceptable in the eyes of God. 1 Corinthians chapter 5 speaks directly about immorality in the church. Sexual immorality is wrong in any sense but when you teach the word of God in His house and practice these sins the offense is far greater.
