Justification by Faith
November 3rd 2010 00:14
Our study continues with Romans 3:1-8. As we read this scripture we see some interesting passages. Verse 5 breaks it down very well and it is easy to understand without doubt.
This is a crucial piece of this study. We have learned about the fairness of God’s judgment in Romans 2, now we are seeing the justification behind the fairness. Justification is by faith.
Sin is in the world and it is because heaven is a prepared place for prepared people there must be some measure of discerning those who are prepared and those who are not. But what does prepared mean? True believers in Christ are saved by grace. We are not sinless but we are to be sinning less each day in our walk with our Lord. For those who sacrifice themselves and strive to become more like Christ in their walk and talk are the prepared people. They are chosen by God to become children of the living God.
So, this scripture shows us the justification of the judgment, the need and the importance of it in order to make that distinction between people.
