Looking Back on 2008

As we look back on the year that has left us we should reflect on what it is we have learned or what strides we have made to become better people and walk in righteousness. Here are a few questions to ask yourself to get an idea of where you are in your spiritual walk. And remember, don’t lie to yourself, it is possible to do but don’t! Keep in mind that you can never lie to God.
1. Did we get closer to God?
2. Did we take the time to read His Word (the bible) and learn from it?
3. Are we praising God each day in our lives?
4. Have we been praying to God everyday and listening when He speaks regardless of if it is something we want to hear?
5. Do we try and connect with other Christians?
6. Have you shared God’s love with your neighbors?
7. Have you put good use to the year or have you merely wasted time?
