Nehemiah “The Book of Troubles”

September 16th 2009 17:58

Nehemiah is commonly referred to as “the book of troubles”. In this book we can see many lessons that can apply to our daily lives and spiritual journey. First, if you open to this book and begin to read it you’ll see spiritual truths and burdens. The largest part to this book that can take on a deep meaning for us is the fact that his mission was to rebuild the walls. In our lives we need fortification when we walk with the Lord. We need to examine and rebuild or restore our walls if we are going to live a righteous life and do what we are called to do. All the while we need to put God first, pray hard and seek Him throughout our journey.

The next few bible studies we will have will all come from this book. As you read it throughout the week you can count on some important life lessons for every Christian here at Hidden Eternal Treasures. I encourage everyone to read a little each day and spread it out over the next couple of weeks to make the most of the testimony within the text.
