Paul's Warning: Don't be Deceived!

Today we look at the second lesson we can learn from Ephesians 5:1-7 – this is a continuation of the last bible study.
The world is such an evil place. Sin has corrupt the hearts of people in every civilization. Man has devised their own rules and doctrine, which happens to be the opposite of God's. Man says if it feels good do it, who is to say what “truth” really is, live the way you want and who cares about the consequences... etc.
Now, in scripture, we are told not to be deceived but Paul points it out again and very clearly in verses 6-7. We are responsible for our own actions- God makes sure that He sends people to us to speak the truth. But when we choose to believe man and his weak minded philosophies and the doctrine of Satan (which is to say, the selfish mentality and immorality) we will become partakers with them. God has made sure we know the truth, but it is our choice to stay with Him or stand with mankind and endure the wrath for disobedience.
