Sin is a Big Problem
November 14th 2010 00:24
Welcome to the continuation of our Romans study. Today we are looking into chapter 3:9-20. Take a moment to read the passages and then follow along as we go deeper into His word.
We see in verses 9 and 10 that sin is a universal problem. It expands all over the world. It touches each and every race of people, every religion and it tarnishes all righteousness. No one is free from the sin factor. There is not one who is without sin. All fall short of the glory of God and all men have sinned.
In verses 11-18, it is clear that it tarnishes every aspect of our lives. Our spirit, our speech, our senses, our soul, our sight and each step that we take.
We can not, when faced with the truth deny that sin is a problem. Man’s sin is first declared by the law and then doomed by law. There is only one solution and that is to trust and obey Jesus in all of His teaching and follow God’s word. The blood of His sacrifice washes us clean. He is the way, the truth and the life. No one gets to heaven but through Him.
