Spiritual versus Ritualistic Christianity
April 4th 2008 03:04
As Christians we must examine ourselves daily. It is not, by any means, easy to live in this world today and be a Christian. Many Christians get caught up in the “me factor” and merely talk the talk but neglect to walk the walk. By this I mean that they fall into a ‘ritualistic Christianity’ pit and forget that this is a spiritual journey.
Watch your self closely and if you see that you are only being a Christian on Sunday, or only reading your bible when the church deems it appropriate (usually on Sundays and Wednesdays) then you are more of a ritualistic person instead of a spiritual one.
Remember, ritualistic behavior is a worldly point of view whereas spiritual behavior is Godly and righteous.
