The Prophecy: The Activities of the Antichrist

The prophecy of the second coming of Jesus Christ, when the end of days is to occur, mentions clearly the activities of the antichrist so that the followers of God will be forewarned. Let’s look at what scripture says about the activities of this wicked character and how we, as Christians, will know when the end is near.
1. he will rise to power by diplomacy. (Revelations 6:2)
2. he will have plans for a one world government. (Daniel 2, Revelation 17:12-15)
3. he will dominate through the economy and establish a new form of a monetary/financial platform. (Revelation 17:13)

4. he will be deceitful about his religion: some biblical scholars believe that a pattern will be seen including spreading an socialism based, atheistic view in society until eventually abolishing Christianity where he exalts himself as God. (Daniel 11:36-39, 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12, Revelation 17)

Some would say that that's happening now a days, surely some of the signs are there. I believe we are close to him being revealed.

I'm reading more in the Bible and researching this more. I feel the time will be close and I don't want to wait to invest my soul in God.
