The Purpose of the Church

Most people have it wrong as to why the church exists. The church has one primary purpose and that is to Glorify God. This is not a facility merely meant to be a “hang out” for Christians or a place to go to in order belong to a group. Some churches have become very commercial. If you are looking in scripture to find the real reason to attend church you can find it in Ephesians 1:5-23. To realize the reward for committing yourself to glorifying God within the church read Colossians 3:23-24
