The Word of God
September 24th 2008 16:21
I want to take a moment to add a special message about the Word of God. When Christians talk about this term it means the words written in the Holy Bible. Now I have had a comment or two from people saying that the bible is not physically written by the hand God in literal terms, which we all know and that the same messages have been around in other writings predating Christianity, again no one is arguing that point either.
Here is some clarification: The term itself refers to the fact that God uses mankind, those willing to devote themselves to God’s laws and teachings, to speak what He needs them to say. Nothing happens by chance but by the will of God. God puts it upon a chosen person’s heart to see and write about the things He wants the rest of the world to know. This is what the Word of God means. Basically, the Word of God is what ever the message He wants the world to know through the mouth and hand of those that love Him.

If I give the members my words it will not help them seeing I don't know in myself what they may need, but God knows and lays it on my heart, what to read and preach.
