True or False: There Are No UFOs Mentioned in the Bible

It's funny, I have heard Christians say that there can't be any UFOs because they weren't mentioned in the bible. I have also heard people say they can't be a Christian because Christians can't believe in “scientific stuff” like UFOs. Please do not misunderstand me here, I am not saying that all UFO experiences are real nor am I saying that I subscribe to the various “alien” theories. ALL I am saying is that there is mention of an unidentified flying object in scripture. So, whenever you hear ignorant people rambling on about this topic you will now know something they don't. Turn with me to Ezekiel chapter one.
Ezekiel did a great job when writing what he saw. I won't go through every single verse as it would take an incredibly long time, but I do hope you would take the time to read it all. It is very interesting. I am going to explain a good portion of it though for those who have trouble understanding Ezekiel's work. It is important that you understand this from his perspective- no one had ever seen anything like this before. They had nothing that flew except for living creatures so it is vital to understand that- he had no concept that this was a machine. Also, as far as the verses that talk about the various faces or them changing, this is to say windows where he could see people inside and since the object was revolving his descriptions may seem hard to understand but chew on it and work through what he must have been thinking and his reasoning which is reflected in his writing.
Verse 4 “Then I looked, and behold, a whirlwind was coming out of the north, a great cloud with raging fire engulfing itself; and brightness was all around it and radiating out of its midst like the color of amber, out of the midst of the fire.” (How does a whirlwind travel: Like a tornado. Now, this word “amber” is interesting. The word means highly polished bronze in the Hebrew.)
Verse 9 “Their wings touched one another. The creatures did not turn when they went, but each one went straight forward.” (Remember that to see something flying to Ezekiel it had to have “wings”. When he says they all touched each others means they were connected or one piece/part of the machine that made it fly. When he says they did not turn where they needed to go and they went straight forward all the time you can imagine what he means since he has only seen animals fly and animals move.)
Verse 12 “And each one went straight forward; they went wherever the spirit wanted to go, and they did not turn when they went.” (Again, it did not have to turn like a carriage or ox cart would- it could go front, back, sideways, etc.)
Verse 16 “The appearance of their workings was, as it were, a wheel in the middle of a wheel.” (So the revolving wheel in this whirlwind captivated him and he couldn't understand how it flew and levitated.)
Verse 17 “When they moved, they went toward any one of four directions; they did not turn aside when they went.”
Verse 18 “As for their rims, they were so high they were awesome; and their rims were full of eyes, all around the four of them.” (Those inside were looking out at him)
Verse 19 “When the living creatures went, the wheels went beside them; and when the living creatures were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up.”
Verse 20 “Wherever the spirit wanted to go, they went, because there the spirit went; and the wheels were lifted together with them, for the spirit of the living creatures was in the wheels.” (He writes that the machine is the living creature because it flies and those inside must be the spirits. Very well described actually, in my opinion knowing what we now know about flying and travel in such a way.)
*As I said this entire chapter is fascinating. The description of the “wheel” machine that travels like a whirlwind that comes from the sky and moves wherever it chooses in straight shots, is wonderfully written by Ezekiel. It is amazing how much science is actually in the Word of God and how little people actually know of it.
Something to remember: Not all UFO’s are good, Satan could use one to deceive us by pretending to be Jesus, arriving in one.
