A Closer Walk with Thee…

Most Christians will recognize the title of this post as a song of praise and worship. I personally love that hymn. But it shouldn’t just be a hymn to us. Our walk and talk should be synonymous. A closer walk with God doesn’t mean that we are sinless but it does mean that we should be sinning less. But how can we do this? The following should be our daily routine:
Surrender all decisions to God.
Be sensitive to God’s voice.
Study and obey God’s word.
Pray often.
Deny yourself, pick up your cross and follow Him.
Serve God and put Him ahead of yourself.
