What is Gossip?

There seems to be a blurry line between gossiping and informing. Let's go into scripture to find out what defines gossip.
Lev. 19:16 - "slanderer"
Prov. 11:13 - "a talebearer reveals secrets"
Prov. 20:19 - "a slanderer reveals secrets"
Jere. 6:28 – "rebellious... a talebearer"
Jere. 9:4 - "a slanderer"
So what exactly is a “slanderer”- it is a person who vilifies, backbites, spreads rumors, lies, and defames another person. It is slander if it is a lie basically.
What exactly is a tale bearer? Generally, a talebearer is someone who reveals secrets that were spoken in confidence, makes up stories or exaggerates on small truths to make an untrue story. What does scripture say about people who do this?
II Cor. 12:20 - "slanderers, gossip.."
I Tim. 5:13 - "gossips and busybodies"
I Tim. 3:11 - "malicious gossips"
II Tim. 3:3 - "malicious gossips"
Titus 2:3 - "malicious gossips"
