What is Love?

There are three main types of love displayed in the scriptures. Today let's go into them.
The word of God has deep Greek and Hebrew words/meanings. Here is a small lesson in Greek words. The different types of love are:
Eros- the physical feeling
Phileo- the bonds friendship
Agape- the unconditional love without limits/sacrificial
The love that we see displayed by God our Father and Jesus Christ (Yeshua) His Son toward mankind is agape love. Some scriptures to read today are: John 3:16, Matt 22:37-39, Galatians 5, 1 Corinthians 13.
Here is what we see in scripture of what has been given to us and what we should be displaying to others: patience, kindness, serving, sincere, contentment, humble, courteous, sacrificing ourselves for others, serene, forgiving, compassionate, never ceasing and never failing.
Remember we can not show agape love being self centered, only through self denial and self control can we achieve the highest kind of love.
