The Wheat and the Tare Parable Explained
February 24th 2008 16:23
Jesus used parables to explain morals and the teaching principals so that everyone could understand them. Today we will look at the Wheat and the Tares parable of Matthew 13.
1. He who sows the good seed is Jesus
2. The field is the world
3. disciples are the seed sowers
4. Christians are the wheat
5. The tares are the wicked and those that refuse to accept Christ and God’s Holy word.
6. Judgment is coming, the reapers (angels) will separate the good from the bad (wheat and the tares)
7. After the harvest the righteous will shine.
Here is what you need to remember; Satan tries to teach that there are no consequences for our actions. There is nothing after this life so do what you want while you can. This was his greatest trick on mankind… trying to convince us all that God doesn’t exist. It is through this that so many people will be lost and separated from God for eternity.
