Who Are The Elect?

In the first earth age, we were all in spiritual bodies, we were not flesh. The elect were those who, in the first earth age stood with God and against Satan. Those of us who God knows He can count on in the end days to see that prophecy is fulfilled. Go ahead and get your bibles open, we will be covering a lot of strong scripture to verify the set apart ones.
There are so many wonderful scriptures that state we were with God; we knew Him and He knew us prior to being made flesh. Today let's just go through a few of them.
(Malachi 1 and Romans 9) -Let's start with Jacob and Esau, “Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.” **How could God hate someone when they were not even born yet? Simple, God knew him in the first earth age and what he did there upset and hurt our Father.
John 17:24-25 “Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world. O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.”
Ephesians 1:4-5 “According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: Having predestined us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will”
1 Peter1 “Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.”
Romans11:
“Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.”
“As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the Father's sakes. For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.”
1 Thessalonians 1-“Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father; Knowing, brethren beloved, your election of God.”
Mark 13:20 “And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom He hath chosen, He hath shortened the days.”
Let's also take Saul for example. A persecutor of the church. He did so much wrong in his life, so much harm against God until he was struck down on the road to Damascus. What happened there? Let's look in scripture:
“Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath done to thy saints at Jerusalem: And here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on thy name.
But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel” **So, Saul was a chosen vessel, even though he chose the wrong path in his life. Saul became Paul, after his revelation when God struck him down so that his election would be revealed, who was a writer of quite a bit of the New Testament.
John 15- “Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you”
Scripture says that the election have been set apart and chosen by God before this world age. “For many be called, but few chosen” - This is why, throughout the centuries, many strong people have emerged and were used mightily to teach, fulfill God's will and help others in the name of our Father, our Savior Christ and the Holy Spirit.
The next study will be on the great mystery of life from a Christian's perspective. Everyone always wonders, “Why are we here?” You will get the answer to that question as scripture has revealed. God wants us to learn and to know why we are in these flesh bodies and what we are supposed to do.
